Whelen Aerospace Technologies Cowl for the Turbo Arrow.
The turbo Arrow cowling is a change of the composite part of the cowling. We add a cowl flap that allows for better temperature control.
The cowling is built with carbon fiber and is very stiff and will eliminate the cracks that are common on the Piper cowlings.
We improve the safety of the aircraft by moving the gascolator inside a housing with a quick access latch.
We also improve speed by 5 mph via the improved aerodynamics of the cowling.
